Active Directory Account Management Service Enablement
Enabling the service.
Prerequisite activities
You are ready to enable the service if:
- You have completed setting up your Active Directory Account Management configuration and have clicked Update to ensure that this is saved.
- You have installed the:
- the Local Active Directory Account Management Application and configured it with the details on Details Tab
- the Active Directory Account Management Password Handler Applicationand configured it with the details on Details Tab
Activating the service
To activate the service find the slider switch in the top right of the Details Tab
Slide the switch from Disabled to Enabled
A confirmation dialogue will be displayed at the bottom of the screen
Disabling the service
If you need to temporarily suspend automated account management you can disable the service.
To disable the service find the slider switch in the top right of the Details Tab
Slide the switch from Enabled to Disabled
You will be prompted to confirm the activation of the service - click OK to proceed
The service is now suspended.
