Common Setup Steps

The getting ready form

Fill out and submit your SIMS ID Contract This is available from educationsalesadmin@educationsoftwaresolutions.co.uk

You will also be sent a 'getting ready form' this is a convenient place to make sure you have all the information ready to undertake a self-service onboarding

Initial steps

You will be provided with an initial username and password – this will be a temporary account to allow you to activate the services, this will be replaced with your designated personal account as you progress through the process.

Your tasks

Once you have received your temporary account you will need to login to https://id.sims.co.uk and complete the following actions.

• Setting Display Name format This sets the display names format used in SIMS ID and in Office 365 / Google.
• Setting Username formats This sets the username format used in SIMS ID. If you are using SIMS ID to provision Office 365 or Google this will also set the email address format.
