What is going to happen?

On the evening of 9th of December, we will be implementing a required change and as a result existing Apple ID’s will cease to work.

What do I need to do?

We will send you an email on the 10th of December with a link to re-activate your Apple ID.

Click on the link and sign in using your Apple ID Answer the security question to complete the process.

What if I don’t get the email?

Please check your spam/junk folder. If you have not received the email don’t worry, in this scenario you can log in using your SIMS ID user details if you know them and then re-associate your Apple ID manually inside the SIMS ID My Profile

If you don’t know your SIMS ID user details, please contact your school and they will be able to provide you with the details or re-register your account.

What if also have another third-party sign-in method?

You can continue to use that method to login, this change only impacts access using Apple ID. If you wish to use your Apple ID the instruction provided within the email which will be sent to you on 10th December.

Why are we doing this?

To support the ongoing security of the Apple ID and SIMS ID integration some changes are required to our infrastructure. Existing Apple ID associations with SIMS ID will cease to work once we have implemented the changes on the evening of 9th December, therefore you will need to re-activate your Apple ID to continue to access the SIMS Parent App from 10th of December.

We hope this information is helpful but if you have any queries, please contact your school in the first instance.
